Leading a trauma informed workplace culture

Organisations and programs are increasingly seeking to be “trauma-informed” - but what does this mean, and what does it look like in operation? This session supports organisational leaders to understand key definitions of trauma, trauma-informed practices, and frameworks for implementing them. The session explores three critical areas:

  • Whole-of-organisation culture and principles
  • Staff wellbeing and development practices
  • Principles for trauma-informed service user experiences

This session is an opportunity for leaders to identify key language, concepts and actions to demonstrate a genuinely trauma-informed workplace culture.
