The Fundamentals of Trauma-informed Practice with Adults

This helpful introductory training session is designed for those wanting to better understand and respond to the trauma experiences and psychological safety needs of adult service users and staff.

Using plain English, our ThinkWell consultant will guide you through a compelling and practical learning experience. You will be introduced to the key concepts of trauma-informed care, and how they translate into workplace frameworks and approaches. We will help you to pause and think about the outcomes you desire, and what changes might be required to current ways of operating to achieve these.

While the journey towards truly trauma-informed care is a long one, we aim for you to pick up some ideas and approaches that can transform current perspectives and lock down the “next steps” in building a more trauma aware and responsive workplace
