The benefits of reflective practices for staff working in complex settings is commonly assumed, but also often poorly defined. This session moves beyond assumptions to identify and explore why a reflective culture of practice within an organisation is so valuable.
Participants will be supported to develop a shared understanding about the role of reflective practices in your setting and their intended use. For example, how will reflective practices interact with, and operate alongside other existing organisational forums and processes?
We will introduce initial implementation considerations and identify the actions to consider to support this cultural shift. We will provide a range of resources including templates and tools to support them to begin the reflective practice implementation process in a considered way.
We highly recommend this to organisational leadership groups seeking a facilitated opportunity to collaboratively explore key elements of effective a reflective practice culture, before introducing the practice into their programs.
Target Audience: Leadership, supervisors and practitioners
