Have you ever wondered why going for a walk, having a cup of tea, spending time with loved ones, or working with others on a shared goal makes you feel good?

This session takes you beneath the surface of self-care and into the brain, highlighting the connection between regulation, reward and relationships, and how these factors support us to feel and perform at our best. We will explore what truly helps people feel safe—physically, emotionally, and culturally—as well as motivated, engaged, and rewarded in their work.

Drawing on neurobiological frameworks, this session will also help participants to consider how creating inclusive, safe, and high-functioning workplaces for all staff is crucial for staff well-being and retention, not to mention enhanced outcomes and success.

Target Audience: Leadership, supervisors and staff
Duration: Full or half day
Location: on-line or in-person
