Throughout her 20-year career as a social worker, Ariane has been driven by a passion for learning about people; their identities, their experiences and their communities. Over the years, navigating roles in direct practice, management, and practice leadership, her professional journey has taken her across the globe, from the rural farmlands of Bangladesh to the bustling heart of London, deepening her understanding of the diversity of peoples lived experiences and the supports and structures they need to thrive.

For the past 8 years, Ariane has focused on enhancing the sector’s capacity to support children, adolescents and their families living with and healing from trauma, bringing her expertise to both Victorian government and community sector roles. Informed by a belief and value that they are inextricably linked, Ariane has focused on supporting professionals working within these challenging and complex contexts from both a practice standard perspective along with a staff wellbeing and care perspective.

Ariane’s extensive experience spans child protection, youth justice, mental health, drug and alcohol services, homelessness, and disability sectors. This diverse background allows her to draw from a wealth of real-world examples, bringing a dynamic and holistic perspective to her work.

In addition to her direct practice, Ariane has over a decade of experience in leadership roles, where she has championed clinical practice development. She is celebrated for her ability to translate complex concepts into accessible, practical content for diverse audiences through trainings, workshops, supervision, and reflective practice sessions.

Known for her warm and engaging facilitation style, Ariane excels in fostering connections and guiding transformative conversations, particularly in high-stakes environments. Her approach blends intelligence with empathy, ensuring that every voice is not just heard but valued.
